I had the pleasure of teaching Kristin JavaScript and React as part of a full stack web development coding immersive program in Washington, D.C. As a student, Kristin showed a lot of curiosity, grit, determination, patience, and perseverance. She was thoughtful and internalized feedback well, always looking to improve her understanding. In addition, I found Kristin to be very creative. She worked well with other students and constantly had ideas to contribute to projects. Overall, it was a very rewarding experience to both teach and learn from Kristin.

Kristin was a student in my digital crisis management class in 2014, and embodied the drive, curiosity, and enthusiasm sought out by professors and employers alike. The course is designed with elements of ambiguity and a student-selected final project that was disconcerting for many–even at the graduate level. Kristin, like other high-performing students, was excited to explore the subject matter with an open mind and her work products was thorough, well-researched, and consistently illustrated her understanding and ability to navigate the complexities of emerging crises and risk.

During her time with us, Kristin researched and wrote engaging blog posts for our architecture website. To help other employees who might be interested in blogging, Kristin and our SEO specialist created a user-friendly presentation on how to use SEO and SEM to create content that ranks more prominently in search engine results pages. Kristin is a dedicated professional with an eye for detail. She is perceptive of the needs of her team and firm, and handles stressful situations with grace.
