Great Music to Code By

Are you on a deadline and having a tough time getting inspired because Thanksgiving is tomorrow?

Sometimes, the right playlist is all you need to get inspired. Here is a list of music that will help you breeze through your to-do list. Feel free to suggest any that I have missed. 🙂

Tron: Legacy

Before he acted in that Die Hard movie that no one likes to talk about, Jai Courtney was Jeff Bridges’ son in this sequel.

The soundtrack is a pre-“Get Lucky” Daft Punk explosion from start to finish.

In the mood for some great R&B beats? This list has been one of my favorites for a few years. I’ve learned some new artists here but also find favorites like Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, FKA twigs and more.

Ambient Relaxation

Listen to something calm while pretending to be at that yoga retreat instead of your desk.

Peaceful Piano

Perhaps you’d rather pretend to be at a fancy cocktail party. This playlist and its 11 hours of relaxing piano music is just right for you.

Late Night Vibes

If you prefer to work when it’s dark outside and everyone else is asleep, try this playlist. It’s laid back enough not to compete with your concentration, but has enough pep to keep you from nodding off.

Songs To Do CPR To

Sometimes you want something upbeat with songs that you’ve heard hundreds of times. This list is a great mix of party or workout songs. As a bonus, you can use the beat on any of the tracks as a guide to perform CPR at the correct pace.
